The Lighthouse
The Lighthouse is a 2019 black-and-white art-house drama that tells the tale of two lighthouse keepers on a remote New England island in the 1890s. The brief was to create a unique hand-made poster design. Taking inspiration from the film’s distinctive cinematography, letter forms were made from light and shadow to evoke the story’s eerie atmosphere, and create a dramatic sense of foreboding about the film’s narrative.
