Bushwick Block Party
Bushwick, in Brooklyn, New York City, is a vibrant neighbourhood known for its colourful street art, lively spirit, and repurposed warehouse spaces that now host arts, music, and community events. The Brooklyn Arts Council hosts an annual festival celebrating this diverse and evolving area.
The brief was to design a promotional flyer for the festival’s final-day block party. A bespoke custom-drawn typographic lockup was developed to create a bold, expressive identity inspired by Bushwick’s architecture and street culture. A dual-colour palette reflects the shift from daytime community celebration to evening music and nightlife.
